Custom 3d Trophy & Plaques has evolved from a small craft hobby to the multi-facetted wood crafting studio that it is today.  My love and appreciation for wood working was inspired by my uncle, thus learning whatever I could from magazines, videos and school teachers when I was very young.

10 years ago, in the housing downturn, I lost my job as a CAD Designer with a Civil Engineering firm.  In an effort to support my family, while looking for my next CAD Design position, I started thinking about how I could use my CAD skills in combination with my wood working skills.  As the saying goes, “do what you love, and you’ll never work a day in you’re life”.  With enthusiasm and excitement, I began doing custom designed projects for myself.  Those projects caught the attention of friends and family.  In a short amount of time, I was making custom designs for my friends and family.  From there I began to get referral work.  And, I’ve been doing what I love doing ever since.

Using my CAD and computer knowledge, I have the freedom and capability to design a wide spectrum of items.  My designs range from furniture, plaques, bowls, to musical instrument molds and beyond.  Each design can be easily modified, so that no two pieces are exactly the same.
